Lets get this out of the way now: the band Linfinity was NOT named after a certain former New York Knick. They existed long before that Linsanity phenomenon, playing Americana-tinged rock. Frontman Dylan Von Wagners powerful, operatic voice sits front and center of it.
Download the track "Red Nation Waltz" and watch a video of Linfinity performing "Martian's Bloom" live on a 2010 edition of Soundcheck. You can also hear the full interview with Linfinity here. The band plays Mercury Lounge Thursday night.

Even though it lasted only a short time, I was just as enchanted as everyone else with the "Linfinity" phenomenon last year. Linfinty really helped lift the spirits of a moribund NBA franchise's fan base for several months. Best of luck to you, Linfinity, in your new home!
