Jenn Grant started playing music at an early age, but dropped out due to stagefright. For many people, this spells the end of their musical dreams. For Grant, it was simply a pause - she re-started her solo career in 2005 and since then she’s released 4 albums and been nominated for a Juno Award – Canada’s version of the Grammys.
Grant’s latest album The Beautiful Wild explores the nature of love through nature itself. On “The Fighter,” Grant’s haunting melodic control guides you, while a steady banjo-led pulse locksteps behind her.
