A comment a little late, but I'd recommend The Beatles - "Run For Your Life" with Lennon singing:

Well I’d rather see you dead, little girl
Than to be with another man ...

Well you know that I’m a wicked guy
And I was born with a jealous mind
And I can’t spend my whole life
Trying just to make you toe the line

You better run for your life if you can, little girl
Hide your head in the sand little girl
Catch you with another man
That’s the end’a little girl

Meant to add this earlier -- "Just to Torture Myself" by Marshall Chapman. Great sounding record, although more masochistic than creepy (assuming a difference).

No one seems to have mentioned what may be the
ultimate stalker/creepy love song whose lyrics
come from letters from an actual stalker/obsessed
fan: 1993's 'Possession' by Sarah McLachlan.
The story behind this song involves a lawsuit
by the fan (likely a ruse to get close to the
object of his obsession, followed later by
his suicide. Sorry for the 'morbid,' but the
story is true.) The song was quite a hit for
McLachlan I think. a few lines from
the song:

The night is my companion
And solitude my guide
Would I spend forever here
And not be satisfied

And I would be the one
To hold you down
Kiss you so hard
I'll take your breath away
And after, I'd wipe away the tears
Just close your eyes dear

And one other super creepy stalkery
song is 2005's '22 Steps' by
Andy Stochansky, covered in 2007
by Damien Leith. This song seems
like the anthem for Robin Williams'
creepy character in the film 'One Hour
Photo.' Here a a few lines:

If I were him
I'd know your birthday
just what to get
the colors you wear
we'd borrow bikes
we'd ride on sundays
you'd review the books I send

I know
takes 22 steps
from the walk to your door
takes 22 steps
'cause I've tried it before
and one day I'll knock
but just not yet

In the song cycle 'Dichterleibe' by Schumann you can hear the singer slowly going over the edge.
Also 'Cherish' is really creepy: "...make you feel, make you see that you ARE DRIVING ME OUT OF MY MIND"

How can you omit Chuck Berry? In music, as in real life, he had a special thing for underage girls: "Sweet Little Sixteen", "Little Queenie" (verse: "She's too cute to be a minute over seventeen.") And just what was it about 6-year-old Marie in "Memphis, Tennessee"?
He even did a stalker song as well: "Nadine".

Feb. 14 2012 02:48 PM

Finally, Nick Cave. You can't have creepy love songs without Nick Cave.

Check out the lyrics to Nat King Cole's recording of "To the Ends of the Earth" sometime around 1959:

No matter how far you are
I'll never be far behind
Who cares where the path may wind
As long as I find...
YOU

Feb. 14 2012 02:40 PM

"Could've Been" by Tiffany is a VERY creepy song, even scarier when you see the docu "I think We're Alone Now" which is a documentary about Tiffany's stalkers.

Feb. 14 2012 02:40 PM
Betty Anne from UES

Weird Al has a few original and they are wonderful:

"You Don't Love Me Anymore" is the best. Hilarious. His parody "Do I creep you out" has a lyric "can I sniff the pit stains on your blouse."

Various cuts from the Vertigo soundtrack.
Epilogue from the soundtrack of Cleopatra.

Canzone: moderato from Barber's Piano concerto

Love theme from the Soundtrack of the Coppola Dracula.

And more...
