Britt Daniel hasn't done a solo record in a long time - and he hasn't done a Spoon album since 2010. With his new band Divine Fits, Britt collaborates with Dan Boeckner, the guitarist/frontman of Wolf Parade and drummer Sam Brown (from the punk band New Bomb Turks). John Schaefer has hosted Soundcheck since the show’s inception in 2002. He has also hosted and produced WNYC’s radio series New Sounds since 1982 (“The No. 1 radio show for the Global Village” – Billboard) and the New Sounds Live concert series since 1986.

i love this, but i am a huge spoon fan AND a HUGE wolf parade/Dan Boeckner fan. i wasn't even in love with handsome fur's last techno-like album, but this sounds like a lost track from it that would have redeemed the whole album
