Soundcheck is WNYC’s on-air and online destination for new music, live performances and engaging conversations with artists, critics and tastemakers. Those conversations begin at Soundcheck.org and continue with host John Schaefer every weeknight at 9 p.m. on 93.9 FM and WNYC.org.

Internships: Soundcheck accepts applications from people interested in helping out with the production of our radio program and web site. Internships require a three to four-month, two-day per week commitment (10 a.m. – 5 p.m.) which coincides approximately with spring, summer or fall semester. There is a small daily stipend and past interns have received academic credit. Internships take place at WNYC Radio in New York City, where Soundcheck is produced.

Application process: All applicants must apply for through the New York Public Radio jobs page. Please direct questions to Soundcheck executive producer Joel Meyer.
