Singer and producer Nanna Øland Fabricius grew up dancing. A disciplined ballet dancer from the outskirts of Copenhagen, Denmark, Fabricius mastered her movements at the Royal Danish and Royal Swedish Ballet schools. On her self-titled U.S. debut, released on Epic Records last month, Oh Land sets her dancing spirit loose with whirling, pop beats, and clicks in a ballroom romp with delicate vocals. "I want my music to feel like 2050 meets something really classic, like meeting a stranger that feels as familiar as an old friend," says Oh Land. This track, "Sun of A Gun," fits the futuristic electropop bill, while this video for “Wolf & I” works as both a trippy, heart-stirring ballad and a “modern fable about doubt and fear."
