So, the Ringo/Joss Stone song is bad because of the man who sings it? How's the song? Seems to me, if the song is good, and it's performed well, it doesn't matter who sings it.
And just because you know, and are intimately familiar with, Leonard Cohen and his songs, again, why not concentrate on the song that was laid down, and not on your disappointment about how much it veers away from your preconceptions about how it should be done.
