After releasing Delayer in 2008, The Heavenly States has a new EP on the horizon: Oui Camera Oui. It's the San Francisco folk-rock revival group's first recording on the label Hippies Are Dead Records and it's due out on April 19. Singer and guitarist Ted Nesseth says the band approached the new EP with the idea of a rebirth in mind. "We started thinking about the death of the record," says Nesseth. "People are broke, their attention spans are waning. We have all these ideas so we thought, 'Let's just rock out five or six songs.'" Download the album's opening track “Model Son” for a sneak peak of the new album.
