Led by indie rock yarn-spinner John Darnielle, The Mountain Goats’ songs have been inspired by Darnielle’s troubled adolescence, geography, heavy metal, and on their newest album, “All Eternals Deck,” by a mysterious deck of tarot cards. They’ll play live in The Greene Space.

The Mountain Goats is a band built around John Darnielle, who just might be indie rock’s most inventive storyteller.  The Mountain Goats’ songs have been inspired by Darnielle’s troubled adolescence, geography, heavy metal, and on their newest album, “All Eternals Deck,” by a mysterious deck of tarot cards.   They’ll play live in The Greene Space.

I'm not much a fan of The Eagles (or Yes) but I think you have to do a better job with your own stuff to get away with that. From what I'm hearing here he's not going to leave anywhere near the mark of either of those bands.
