After moving to Brooklyn from their hometown of Madison, Wis., the four members of power pop/rock band Locksley had a string of big city bad luck. Following a disastrous road trip, the band got kicked out of their first apartment because they made too much noise rehearsing and, soon after they landed their second place, they got robbed. But their misfortune didn't dampen the spirit or sound of their upbeat garage pop, and they eventually found an audience on MTVu. This song, from Locksley's forthcoming album Be In Love, is a lively, British Invasion-influenced track complete with '60s-style tunefulness, jaunty guitar and impassioned vocals from lead singer Jesse Laz.
