Now a five-piece band, indie rock outfit Here We Go Magic actually began as a solo pseudonym project of singer/songwriter and former muralist Luke Temple, and this enchantingly fuzzy, folk-inspired tune comes from the self-titled album he released as HWGM last year. Swathed in lo-fi loveliness, Temple wades through a liquid, sagacious melody with mercurial synths that rise and fall over steady guitar, all the while channeling Paul Simon with his compassionate, high-pitched vocals.
