Singer/songwriter James Apollo lives in New York, but he writes songs like a man who's experienced the loneliness and danger of the Old West. On this track, Apollo, singing in a weathered whisper, moseys through an arid, moody tune full of foreboding guitar, anthemic, heartbreaking piano, and percussion evocative of the forlorn shuffle of a boot through dry, desert sand.
