Tonight, the highly anticipated Unsound Festival gets under way with a free performance featuring Finnish electronic artist Sasu Ripatti, a.k.a. Vladislav Delay. The inventive musician, known for his glitch-ambient style heard in tracks such as "Melankolia," will join forces with German video artist Lillevan. Together the two will produce an improvisational multimedia experience specially tailored for the David Rubenstein Atrium, an apt kick-off for a festival celebrating adventurous music and art. If you plan to go, get there early; previous concerts at the Atrium have quickly filled to capacity before showtime.
