Powered by an undeniable boozy charm, the Beets ruled the New York lo-fi scene in 2009. The band's affable sing-alongs and raucous stage presence won over the likes of The L Magazine (who named them one of eight "NYC Bands You Need to Hear"), the Vivian Girls (whom they supported on a 10-city tour), and even the Brooklyn Museum (where they performed as part of the Who Shot Rock & Roll exhibit in the fall). "What Did I Do?" distills the band's aesthetic perfectly.
