Regal Degal
“Making You Thinking

Playing Friday at
319 Rutledge St. (at Broadway St., South Williamsburg)
Info: Tickets (FREE) | Directions

The Brooklyn-based trio Regal Degal smashes and bangs out post-punk rock replete with amped-up and distorted layers of sound. That makes it rather hard to tell what’s actually going on, but the band definitely gives listeners something to think about.

Fronted by former Dinowalrus drummer Josh da Costa on lead vocals, the track “Making You Thinking” serves up a splash of surf-rock infusion. Check them out Friday night when they feature an honorary fourth member of the band and have copies of the newly pressed 12” EP entitled Speckled Fruit.
