The members of Via Audio met while attending Berklee College of Music, and while you don't need a prestigious music degree to write catchy-as-hell hooks, the band members' training does seem to influence their fun, enchanting pop. Following the release of their 2007 debut album, the quartet garnered praise for their infectious songs, and on this track from their forthcoming album Animalore (in stores March 9), the band continues to turn out fetching, clever indie pop. "Babies" is a synthy, seductive, retro R&B-esque tune with smooth vocals and a fetching backbeat.
