The Snow
“Handle Your Weapon”
Playing Thursday at Littlefield
(622 Degraw St., Gowanus)
Get: Tickets ($8)| Directions

The only indie band in America to feature three clarinet players, The Snow makes digestible chamber pop ditties that feature some seriously pretty instrumental arrangements. The music’s relaxed vibes, unabashed tweeness, and the vocal interplay between singers Pierre de Gaillande and Hilary Downes makes it sound something like a polished Moldy Peaches. This song, “Handle Your Weapon,” comes off the group’s 2010 release on Vermillion Music, I Die Every Night. Beware its instant earworm potential.
