Back in 2005, Tom van Buskirk got together with his cousin George Langford to create music as Javelin, and last year folks started getting hip to their otherworldly brand of eletro-pop. After self-releasing an album and putting out some mixtapes, the duo is set to release No Mas, their proper full-length debut, with Luaka Bop on April 20. Their first single, the silly and fun "Oh! Centre," sounds like some 20-year-old idea of future pop music; Super Mario Bros.-esque chip music and a dancy beat underscore a helium-voiced rap.
