Del McCoury Band & Preservation Hall Jazz Band

Wednesday, July 20, 2011

On their own, both Del McCoury and the Preservation Hall Jazz Band are masterful purveyors of American musical traditions. Now, on a new collaborative record, called “American Legacies,” listeners have a chance to hear a distinctive musical mash-up, where the king of bluegrass meets the kings of New Orleans jazz. The 12-piece group brings their joint take on a century of song live to the Greene Space.
