Appropriately, the electronic indie pop project Bachelorette began as the solo endeavor of one woman: New Zealand native Annabel Alpers, who began writing songs as Bachelorette while studying computer composition. Alpers remained a loner for her first two releases, but for her most recent album, My Electric Family, Alpers recruited some band members to help her create her tripped out, half-woman, half-machine sound. This track -- with its playful wah-wah guitar, vintage synths, and ethereal vocals courtesy of Alpers -- basks in spacey disco energy.
