Folks had a right to be nervous when the members of Field Music announced that the band was taking a break after the release of their second album in 2007. After all, in the music biz, "hiatus" often tends to be synonymous with "break-up." But, after taking some time to work on other projects (bandmates and brothers David and Peter Brewis recorded separate albums as School of Language and The Week That Was, respectively), these indie art rockers made good on their word by reconvening and returning with a new double album back in February. This track is a smart, tight take on classic-rock cool; bluesy guitar riffs swagger to sophisticated time signatures on a surreal melody.
