In Studio: Gil Morgenstern

Monday, September 12, 2011

Gil Morgenstern is a violinist – and a thinker. His Reflections concert series, which aims to explore universal themes through music, is about to embark upon its second season with a look at this question: Divine inspiration or intelligent design? He joins us in the studio to puzzle it out – and perform live.

Gil is an important artist, and we love him. As the president of WMP Concert Hall, I have been privileged to host his Reflection series. It has been a great pleasure. As an artist and violinist, Gil has brought beauty to our lives and made us think about the depth and strength of us as human beings.

We have the privilege of hearing Gil here in North Carolina at The App Summer Festival and also at concerts in Florida. His talents both as a violinists and intellectually bring with him outstanding performances.

Gil is absolutely a great artist and his music make me feel good.
Im Italian and he often comes to Italy to play music in wonderful locations that perfectly suite with the atmosphere he creates.
