With a voice sweeter than honey and an eclectic sense of style, Soulquarian member Bilal has long been one of the most creative R&B musicians on the scene. The classically trained crooner has succeeded where others have failed at finding the place where deeply soulful music meets commercial accessibility.

But after a disappointing run on Interscope, which shelved his 2006 album Love for Sale after it leaked, Bilal is back. This time he's making music with all the freedom afforded to an indie artist. Last year, he released Airtight’s Revenge on Plug Research, acclaimed by critics for its rich layering of funky samples, vintage keyboards and cooing vocals, as heard in this song, “Think it Over.”
