French-born pianist Romain Collin came to the States to study at the Berklee College of Music, and before long he was sharing the stage with jazz luminaries Herbie Hancock and Wayne Shorter. Tonight, Romain will perform solo at Smalls (as part of the club's Monday Night Solo Piano series), but on this original tune from his debut album, Romain leads his traditional trio through an intimate piece.
