In Studio: Anthony Hamilton

Wednesday, December 21, 2011

As Soundcheck looks back at 2011 during Critics Week, we pause a moment to consider one of the best song titles of the year. On paper, R&B singer Anthony Hamilton’s single, “Woo,” would seem to be monosyllabic. But after one listen to its sexy hook, we think you might need four syllables – plus staccato horns – to pronounce it. With his band in tow, Hamilton joins us to play songs from his new album, “Back to Love,” in our studio.
