Lissy Trullie, a sometimes model (she's called it a day job) and DJ at the quasi-hip Beatrice Inn (where she was also a janitor), seems too much. And she is, but she's also a decent singer/songwriter. She fronts a four-piece band named after herself and plays poppy, garage rock songs like "Don't To Do." At the outset, the tune sounds like your simple, catchy three-minute tune, but Trullie's vocals - ranging from husky to soulful falsetto - take the radio-friendly edge off and linger in your ear.
