Reggae artist Yvad owes much of his success to the legacy of Bob Marley. Back in 1996, the young Jamaican musician secured a record deal after impressing Ziggy and Stephen Marley - Bob Marley's sons - with his music, and he later became one of the lead singers in Marley's old band the Wailers. But Yvad's success is also due to his smooth voice. On this track, he croons his way through a mellow, almost meditative melody with the vocal refinement of a Motown singer.
