Tanlines
"All Of Me"
Playing on Thursday at Bowery Ballroom
(6 Delancey St., L.E.S.)
Get: Tickets ($13) | Directions

Brooklyn synth-pop outfit Tanlines released its debut EP, Settings, two years ago. In March, the group released its eagerly-anticipated debut full-length album, Mixed Emotions.

The full-length record pairs bliss-filled synth melodies that conjure up summertime and '80s teen movie soundtracks with lyrics that wax existential and convey the uncertainty, ambivalence and anxiety of 30-somethings.

On Thursday night, Jesse Cohen and Eric Emm’s outfit plays its first local date since the record dropped. Before the Bowery Ballroom show, check out the music video for Tanlines’ lead single “Brothers” below and download the group’s latest single “All Of Me” above.
