The State of the Artist

Tuesday, April 10, 2012

Recently, songwriters David Byrne and James Murphy (formerly of LCD Sound System) headed up to Yale to talk about the evolving role of the artist in the digital age. John Schaefer moderated the discussion, and we’ll hear excerpts that attempt to explain the songwriting process and how being a musician no longer means just being a musician. You can download our full podcast from the event here.
