Oneohtrix Point Never is the experimental electronic music project of Brooklyn-based musician and writer Daniel Lopatin. As OPN, Lopatin weaves drone, ambient sound, noise, samples and silence into memorable, almost haunting, soundscapes. On Thursday night, he plays his vivid sonic meditations at the Brooklyn Museum of Art at Audiophile, the museum's ongoing borough-based music series.

But before the show, watch the music video for “Replica,” the title track of Oneohtrix Point Never’s latest album, and download his single, “Power of Persuasion.” Ambient white noise, looping piano arpeggios and languid horns are the backbone of the hypnotic song, which, like the rest of the album, is made of sounds sourced from television advertisement compilations.
