Pedro Soler & Gaspar Claus: In Studio

Friday, April 20, 2012

Pedro Soler is a flamenco guitarist steeped in tradition and trained by the Spanish masters. His son, Gaspar Claus, is a cellist versed in Japan’s avant-garde scene. On their album "Barlande," produced by The National’s Bryce Dessner, father and son come together to make an otherworldly kind of flamenco, full of experimental ideas and improvised digressions. The pair join us in the studio to perform live.
