Jobim's music is wonderful, and his lyrics are lightyears beyond those of American pop music. He was a genius.

John,

A few years ago, a Brazilian neighbor here in Penn South Co-ops in Chelsea introduced me to Paula and Jacques Morelenbaum's music. Two of my favorite CDs in my CD collection are (1) "Morelenbaum2/Sakmoto:Casa" and (2) "A Day in New York". I often play these CDs when I have company and they are almost universally enjoyed.

Even after all these years of listening to your show, I am still amazed at the great variety of music you present to your listeners. Bravo to you!

Ash
