Quadron
"Horse"
Playing on Monday at Cameo Gallery
(93 N. 6th St., Williamsburg)
Get: Tickets ($10) | Directions

Danish electro-soul outfit Quadron pairs lush vocals with cool, minimalist production. The duo -- singer Coco O. and producer Robin Hannibal -- formed in Copenhagen in 2009. The name "Quadron" is a reference to the African heritage the two share.

Quadron’s neo-soul pop possesses a rich, diverse DNA with elements reminiscent of artists including The Supremes, Sade, Janet Jackson and Jill Scott. To get a taste of the sound, download “Horse,” from the group's 2010 self-titled debut, and check out this music video for “Simili Life.”

Quadron plays Cameo Gallery on Monday night and Rockwood Music Hall on Tuesday night.
