This indie rock band hails from Palm Beach, Fla. and specializes in summery songs that verge on post-punk. Influenced by the alt-rock sound of the '80s and early '90s, Surfer Blood turn out tracks that would probably make both Michael Stipe and Brian Wilson proud. On "Floating Vibes," the band tempers beachy guitar with darker jangle pop melody and vocals.
