Angel Haze
"New York [Radio Edit]"
Playing on Thursday at Santos Party House
(96 Lafayette St., Chinatown)
Get: Tickets ($7) | Directions

Twenty-one-year-old rapper and singer Angel Haze’s breakneck flow and striking lyricism has earned her internet buzz — and even comparisons to The Notorious B.I.G., in the past year. On the lead single “New York,” off her new EP, Reservation, the Virginia-born, hip-hop upstart peppers a Diwali Riddim clap and ominous bass line with raw, audacious rhyming.

Download the track above and stream or download Reservation on Haze’s site.

Angel Haze's album release party will be at Santos Party House on Thursday night.
