Here in New York, we're pretty pleased with our East Coastyness. But it seems like folks on the West Coast have an extra special devotion to the place they call home. We're not always up to speed with what's happening out there on the left coast, so, we called up KCRW DJ Anne Litt to find what she's been listening to to lately.

Litt shares some sunny pop, or what she calls "Hallelujah Rock," while John Schaefer shares a few brand new -- and appropriately dark -- East Coast jams.

Artists discussed:

° Family of The Year

° Oneohtrix Point Never

° Milo Greene

° Matthew Dear

° Allah-Las

° Janka Nabay & The Bubu Gang
