Remember the Venn diagram? You know, two circles that overlap a little bit where they meet… well, if we made a Venn diagram consisting of indie rock in one circle, and indie classical in the other, My Brightest Diamond would find themselves right smack dab in the middle of where the two meet. Led by the singer-songwriter Shara Worden, My Brightest Diamond put out its third studio album last fall, called All Things Will Unwind.

My Brightest Diamond joined us in the studio along with the New York chamber group yMusic, who also were a part of that record, to play live. Plus, Shara Worden discusses how relocating to Detroit has changed her music -- and the composers that inspire her.
