Tonight on Soundcheck, alt-rock power trio Ben Folds Five has its first album out in 13 years, The Sound Of The Life Of The Mind. Folds, Darren Jesse and Robert Sledge stop by to talk about what it's like to make music together again. Then, A.J. Jacobs, a writer at Esquire magazine and author of books like The Year of Living Biblically and Drop Dead Healthy, gives an update about his summer spent listening to Bob Dylan, and weighs in on Dylan's latest album Tempest.

And Michael Kiwanuka brings his acoustic guitar and his soulful voice to the Soundcheck studio for a captivating, acoustic performance.
