A few of the internet radio services affected by the Internet Radio Fairness Act

In recent weeks there’s been a lot of talk about a new bill in Congress called the Internet Radio Fairness Act -- a law that would change the way that services like Spotify and Pandora pay musicians for streaming their music. The companies say they need the act to stay in business, that taxes and fees are too much -- while musicians have come out against the bill saying there’s no way they can stay in business on the pennies they get from internet radio. Joe Levy, editor at Billboard and Soundcheck regular joins us to look at the issues.

Speaking as one who does not know how to make an MP3 from a CD, it won't affect me yet. Best wishes to all true musos.
