It takes a unique place in one's life and career to simultaneously release a memoir detailing one's sexual escapades of yore and an album of family-friendly Christmas classics. But that's exactly where Rod Stewart is right now: the 67-year-old British singer-songwriter recently released his tell-all memoir, Rod: An Autobiography, as well as his very first holiday record, Merry Christmas, Baby.

That album landed at No. 2 this week, and Billboard editor Joe Levy expects it to climb even higher in weeks to come. We talk with Levy about Rod Stewart's seemingly everlasting popularity and he tells us why "all things Rod have been filling me with joy."
