New classical composer Max Richter (Photo by Yulia Mahir)

A lot of people think that modern classical composers are disconnected from their older, more famous counterparts. Max Richter turns that idea on its head with his latest release. The British-German composer re-imagines Vivaldi’s “Four Seasons” as a minimalist suite.

Download the third "Spring" track from Max Richter's re-imagining of Vivaldi's "Four Seasons" here, and watch a video of Richter's compositiosn performed live below. Max Richter plays (le) Poisson Rouge Thursday night.
