There's that old saying, “New year, new you.” A new you is pretty unlikely. But one thing we're sure about is that the new year will bring a wealth of new bands. J. Edward Keyes editor-in-chief of eMusic, has been keeping an ear out for the promising new sounds of tomorrow and he's put together a list of 13 bands to watch in 2013 over at eMusic.

Keyes joins us today to turn the spotlight on three new acts who may have a big year in store: Brooklyn rock band Parquet Courts, British post-punk group Savages, and the Portland, Ore. duo, Pure Bathing Culture.
