Usually when a band comes in, it has just released an album -- or are about to in the near future -- and they play a couple of songs from that release. But Mystical Weapons -- a new brash noise rock project from Sean Lennon and Deerhoof drummer Greg Saunier -- doesn't play by those rules. The band is an improvisational duo, meaning that pretty much everything they do is created on the spot.

Lennon and Saunier stop by the studio for two live improvs -- one of which the two titled "Somewhere Between Star Wars and High School." You'll just have to listen to hear what that sounds like.
