Song Premiere: Darlings, 'Little Video'

Listen to the latest from the Brooklyn-based garage-pop quartet.

Monday, January 28, 2013 - 10:00 AM

If the kings of slacker rock are Pavement, Brooklyn's own Darlings are among their heirs. The garage-pop quartet is poised to release its sophomore album Perfect Trip on Tuesday, Jan. 29, and have been slowly dropping tracks like a breadcrumb trail.

The latest is "Little Video," a lo-fi jangle with boy-girl harmonies from Peter Rynsky and Maura Lynch. In one word: fun.

The band will play a record release show on Friday Feb. 8 at Death by Audio.
