Soundcheck presents "Tough Critics" -- a video series starring Elisabeth, Onaje and Will, three fifth-graders from the Little Red School House in New York City. In each episode, the trio of burgeoning music critics takes on a new release -- and they don't pull any punches.

Today, they listen to an excerpt of the song "We Drift Like Worried Fire" from Canadian post-rock collective Godspeed You! Black Emperor. GYBE's 2012 release Allelujah! Don't Bend! Ascend! was widely heralded as a comeback for the long-running group. Pitchfork awarded the album a glowing 9.3, calling this song in particular a "summary of everything that made this band great." But our Tough Critics think this song would sound really great if it just had some Taylor Swift vocals on top.
