Kobo Town is a nickname for the Port-of-Spain neighborhood in Trinidad where calypso is said to have been born. It’s also the name of this project from Trinidadian-Canadian songwriter Drew Gonsalves. His Kobo Town is mix of calypso, roots reggae -- and a bit of hip hop too.
