Dan Weiss' latest effort Timeshel features the drummer and his longtime trio bandmates Jacob Sacks and Thomas Morgan, on piano and bass respectively. But on this cut from the album, the trio is actually joined by a fourth guest: the voice of the late actor Jack Lemmon. As fans of David Mamet may recall, Lemmon appeared in Mamet's film version of "Glengarry Glen Ross", along with the phrase "Always be closing," both of which inspired this track. Here Weiss and his trio perform over an excerpt of one of Lemmon's monologues from the film. Weiss mimics the roll of Lemmon's speech with precise taps on his drum kit, matching each utterance with its right-on percussive counterpart.

NOTE: This song contains explicit lyrics.
