Virginia-based songwriter and musician Jack Tatum is the brains -- and the sole presence -- behind the lush dream pop of Wild Nothing. The multi-instrumentalist began the solo project last summer, banging out tunes in his home studio before bloggers began taking notice of his gentle, synthy pop. This track, from Tatum's debut album Gemini (out today), waxes nostalgically in the style of the Cocteau Twins and My Bloody Valentine.
