The English indie pop band Stornoway formed on the campus of Oxford University where the band members complemented their studies by creating a charming, folk-infused sound that has earned them comparisons to Belle and Sebastian. Just last week the quartet (which is often accompanied by a trumpet player and a violinist) released their debut record Beachcomber's Windowsill. Album track "Zorbing," which also served as the band's first single, lies somewhere between sophisticated chamber pop and adventurous indie folk.
