There are probably fewer better places to listen to Magic Kids' newest single "Summer" than on a boat on a warm July night. Tonight the indie pop-rock outfit will be taking a break from their nationwide tour with Ariel Pink to play aboard the Half Moon as it sails along the East River. This tune, which comes from the band's forthcoming debut Memphis (which is also their hometown), abounds in warm, just-right sweetness and sophisticated preciousness à la Belle and Sebastian and Sufjan Stevens.
